Mayech recently updated its new motor, 6374 waterproof motor for foil assist application, which is a popular water sports that can let you easily and cost-effectively E-foil !
Some customers has ordered our motor and opened to see its inside see if it's waterproof or not. But due to Maytech new technique that is different from traditional waterproof technique, that lead some customers misunderstanding, here we apologize for that.
Then what waterproof technique Maytech did on its 6374 waterproof motor？
Before we start producing the 6374 waterproof motor, we did some research, and found that some motors fill up with black waterproof glue that is softer, when motor heats the glue would swell and narrow distance between stator and rotor, stator would easily touch rotor, which will shorten motor lifespan.
Also thick glue fill up with stator and rotor would easy cause heat and affect motor power.
So we decided to find a new solutions and made different versions upgrading, and finally use current version. We use thinner waterproof and anti-rust painting over the stator and rotor so can better dissipate heat.
And Our stator and wirings are all covered with transparent insulating paint, and magnets did anti-oxidation and anti-rust treatment.
